To serve the student population more effectively, the Lone Star College System (LSCS) provides Satellite Campuses in remote areas away from their respective main campuses. Each campus would feature a stand-alone facility providing classroom space, science labs, learning commons, and tutoring spaces. Besides the administrative and faculty offices, support for student interaction with the college includes registration, counseling, testing, and cashiers. To enhance their experience, students have designated seating areas throughout the facility and break areas for study, relaxation and eating. Furthermore, these study and relaxation areas extend to exterior spaces.
