Exigo designed a concept renovation for Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin, Tx. The project explored complex issues such as Historic Preservation and cultural identity in architecture. The project will serve as an anchor to the Austin’s forthcoming Mexican-American Heritage Corridor leading up to Congress Avenue. The Mexic-Arte Museum project was an opportunity to find ways to expand the Museum’s mission to enrich the community through education programs, exhibitions, and the collection, preservation, and interpretation of Mexican, and Latin American art and culture for visitors of all ages.
