This transfer center terminal is the first Bus-anchored Transit Oriented Development in the nation. It houses the Dyer BRT line for Sun Metro featuring 8-bus base terminal including 2 Brio stops, and a 180-parking spaces garage wrapped around 16,000 SF. of retail space and a 10,000 SF. terminal.
This facility plays the role of old train stations that promoted traffic and activity to the surrounding area. It is the anchor of a new Mixed-Use transit-oriented development on a 30-acre site that will reinvigorate Northeast El Paso. The project achieved Green Globes II certification and has the latest in communication technologies. The public spaces are activated by the mixture of uses. Multiple plazas provide community areas for preforming arts, community meetings, festivals, farmer’s markets, etc.
